So it is official, we have partnered with the Brown University bookstore to operate the cafe that they are building!
There will be many details to come- but for now- we will have all the same great organic, fair trade coffee, still be donating to important progressive causes, and open for business in January of 2009!

We are happy to be partnering with GotPoetry to host a weekly poetry series at our store at 300 Thayer Street in Providence, RI.
This series starts October 14th and runs from 8-10PM every Tuesday night.

Our next artist will be holding an art opening tomorrow evening (Saturday the 11th of October) at 6:30 in the evening. Haley Witman is currently a sophomore at Umass Amherst enrolled in the design program.

The election is fast approaching and as always RI is locked up. It will go for Obama and that is great. So what do you as a Rhode Islander have to worry about you’ve done all that you can right? Wrong!
Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia, Indiana, Missouri, and North Carolina are all battleground states that are crucial for those pesky electoral college votes. So here’s what head on down to the RI Obama HQ (321 South Main Street, Suite 101 Providence, RI 02903) hop on the phones and call undecided voters in those “battleground states”.
