BLUE STATE the movie…now on DVD!

Pass the popcorn! We loved this quirky, heartfelt comedy (with a great title), now out on DVD.

Making its premiere at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, Blue State stars Breckin Meyer (Garfield, Road Trip) as impassioned liberal, John Logue, who finds himself in a state of the blues after watching Bush’s victorious re-election and must now face up to a promise he made on the eve of election… to pick up and move to Canada. After interviewing a number of potential co-travelers for his road trip, he meets Chloe Hamon (Academy Award® winner Anna Paquin, The Piano) who seems like the perfect travel companion: quirky, agreeable …and attractive. But after a stop along the way at the home of John’s radical parents, shocking revelations about Chloe’s secret past and a series of misguided events at the “Marry-a-Canadian” headquarters, John and Chloe develop an intimate bond as they are forced to question the true meaning of their convictions, identities and values.
