Iraqi insurgency “now self-sustaining financially”…
and raising $70 to $200 million annually from illegal activity such as oil smuggling, kidnapping, and counterfeiting, according to a classified government report that was the NYT’s front page story. Even more chilling is the report’s speculation that insurgent group’s in Iraq “may have surplus funds with which to support other terrorist organizations outside of Iraq.”
