One of the missions of Blue State Coffee is to help improve the communities we live in. Blue State Coffee decided to release this compilation CD so we could showcase local Rhode Island artists and then donate the proceeds to a great cause, The Fund for Community Progress. A State of Blue is the first release of Blue State Records™ and takes a walk through the 80's, 90's and 2000's visiting some of Providence's musical history. So turn it up and enjoy rocking out for a good cause!

About The Fund for Community Progress:
The Fund for Community Progress is a Rhode Island not-for-profit federation that raises funds for its 26 local member agencies. Together, they have touched almost every Rhode Island household through their programs and their advocacy.
